Every year, hundreds of North Dakota students dive into the world of scientific inquiry through the North Dakota Science and Engineering Fair (ND SERSEF). We empower students and teachers with the tools and resources they need to conduct independent research, fostering critical thinking, problem-solving, and a passion for STEM.
Since 1953, ND SERSEF has been a cornerstone of science and engineering education in North Dakota, inspiring innovation and cultivating future leaders in STEM. We’re proud to celebrate the journey of scientific exploration and the incredible achievements of young minds tackling local and global challenges.
K-5 students complete fun and interesting science experiments following the scientific method. by submitting videos of themselves explaining their project and the results of their project
6th – 8th grade students can compete in the ND SERSEF Junior Division individually or as part of a team!
9th – 12th grade students can only competeĀ individually in the ND SERSEF Senior Division!
